Parliamentary elections were held in Liechtenstein on 1 and 2 February 1970. The result was a victory for the Patriotic Union, which won 8 of the 15 seats in the Landtag. Following the election, the Patriotic Union continued its coalition government with the 7-seat Progressive Citizens' Party, which had been in power for 42 years. Voter turnout was 94.9%, although only male citizens were allowed to vote.[1]
